Distiller: Ancho Reyes
This liquor is made with Poblano hot chili peppers, from Puebla, Mexico, which are dried under the sun and then naturally macerated in cane spirit. This is an unique liquor, bronze color (from the peppers) with a medium body and a good consistency.
The fragrance is immediately hot, followed by dry chili, cocoa and wood scents. The flavor is sweet with just a hint of acidity, with spices, tamarind cocoa and apple flavors, dominated by the natural and original scent of dried chili. Long and persistent aftertaste, where the hot spicy flavour still remains.
