Distiller: Casa Tarasco
The particular terroir of the state of Michoacan in Mexico has allowed in the last centuries, the cultivation of a particular variety of sugar cane, whose fermentation and distillation (double) lead to the realization of a typical local distillate: the Charanda.
Charanda is available in many types, the most famous being Tres Extra, Tarasco (with three ages: Blanco, Reposado and Añejo), and Uruapan (with three varieties: Blanco, Plata and Real de Uruapan).
URUAPAN RON ARTESANAL AZUL (BLANCO): 50% cane juice in pot still and 50% molasses distilled in column. It is a old-style bottled.
