The Hacienda Saruro owned by the DUSA distillery is located in Miel, at the foot of the Andes, in Venezuela. The molasses come from the sugar-cane cultivated in their own plantations. Discontinuous distillation in old Scottish pot stills, use of a ther last Kettle batch in the world, from Canada, as well as a continuous distillation in copper column. Aging in ex-bourbon barrels up to 15 years.
