Agave syrup is a natural sweetener made from the sap of Agave Azul, a variety that grows just in some Mexican regions.
Totally soluble, it looks like any honey, but is more liquid. One of the production phases needs to make the flavor of this syrup more neutral and this is fundamental in order to not cover the aromas of the other ingredients, but to enhance them.
Herradura produces its syrup from its own crops and in addition to being the indispensable ingredient for the preparation of Tommy's Margarita, it can also be used in the preparation of many other cocktails or desserts.
