Located in the south of Australia, Baker Hill distillery was founded in 1998 by David Baker, of biochemical profession. The first release was in the year 2000.
No peated barley is a local product, purchased from an Australian farmer, while the peatd barley comes from UK. The refining is made in 50 liters barrels, to help a better interchange with the wood.
Solar and rich this Double Wood was refined in French durmast barrels. Profile creamy and expressive, mix of malted and wooded (candied citrus, apple, pear, pineapple) notes, but also spices (pepper, nutmeg) and tastefully wooden (durmast). Coconut milk and vanilla.
