Type: Single Malt Irish Whiskey
Released in 1995 from Cooley distilleries, this single malt was the first Irish peated whisky, made with 75% of peated barley malt. Connemara will surprise you with its golden color. On a blind taste it has more a scotch single malt taste than an Irish one, with the same body and typical aromas. The fragrance is elegant with perfumes of malt and liquorices, with a light peated smoky flavor. The taste, creamy and balanced, is strongly connected with the fragrance, before ending with a long and herbal aftertaste.
