Established in 1829 in the town of Tullamore, between Dublin and Galway, Tullamore distillery rises very fast to success, thanks to D.E. Williams management. His initials were added to the name of the Company at the time of production of the most famous of all Irish whiskies, Tullamore Dew. In 1954 the company closed but the brand name was purchased by Powers Distilleries which was, since 1875, a member of the Irish distilleries Group.
