Region: Scotland - Lowland
Type: Single Malt Whisky
Normally you can match the triple distillation to the smooth and fruity Irish whiskies: but another distillery, Auchentoshan, comes in mind. It could be maybe difficult to pronounce, but they produce a single malt exceptionally good.
Fruity and flowery, this 12 years old Scotch shows an incredible softness and you can easily compare it to an Irish product. With a generous bouquet and flowery notes to the taste, subtle and delicate, offers a brilliant image of the Lowland Single Malt style. Fragrance with caramel and hazelnuts, it tastes flower (honeysuckle), iris and lavender. Aftertaste with spices and malted barley.
