Region: Scotland - Highlands
Type: Single Malt
This single malt with a strong personality and coming from the assembly of some casks of ex-sherry oloroso, is born in the smallest distillery in Scotland (Southern Highlands).
Original edition of Edradour single malt, this 10-year version has evolved considerably after Andew Symington's repurchase of the distillery.
Originally aged essentially in ex-sherry oloroso stems, Edradour has become wise and now sports a beautiful deep gold color and sweeter notes.
• Color: amber.
• Nose: broad. Marked by sherry, walnut, beeswax and honey. It evolves on apple and plum.
• Mouth: rich and concentrated. Floral (lavender, violet). It develops on spices (peppermint).
• Final: long, fruity sweetness. It evolves on salted butter caramel.
