"... the origin of the distillery's name? Capreolus derives from the Latin name of the most beautiful of all deer, the roe. Gliding away delicate, this animal is constantly discovering the nature that surrounds it, to remember the elusive nature of what we are trying to preserve". This opens up the story of the Capreolus distillery, which is characterized by the few but excellent products, treated in detail.

Everything is due to Barney Wilczak, the young owner of the distillery with different adventures in his past, including one like a photographer: a high level of attention to the natural world, biology and artistic expression, have guided his productive research in the last few years. A deep research and an obsessive focus have resulted in the creation of distillates that can be defined scientific, due to their degree of sensorial experimentation.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
