Founded in Bouteville in the 17th century, the Maison Giraud has consolidated through the generations a stock of old Cognacs that today allows us to offer a constant quality in the new bottlings and a wide range of very rare products. Giraud is one of the last estates to maintain the manual harvest on a total area of 35 hectares, in the Grande Champagne area.

It does not resort to any type of synthetic chemistry and only uses grapes from its own vineyards; furthermore, the natural springs flowing in the family cellars ensure the best conditions for aging. The distillery's production philosophy does not allow mixing of different vintages in order to highlight the genuine differences between one vintage and another.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
