Hampden Estate Fresh is the new White Pure Single Rum from the historic Jamaican distillery, created specifically for contemporary mixology. The name refers to the term traditionally used at Hampden Estate to describe the spirit straight from the still: fresh, in fact, before it has even been aged in casks.
Bottled at 42°, Fresh brings Hampden’s instantly recognisable character to the glass in a more accessible and versatile form. The aromatic profile typical of the distillery’s rums – intense, fruity and distinctly Jamaican – is preserved, but presented at an alcohol content designed to strike a balance in cocktails.
Hampden Fresh was therefore created with a specific aim: to bring the identity of Hampden Estate to cocktails, offering bartenders and enthusiasts a white rum that retains its own character even when combined with citrus fruits, sugar, soda and other ingredients.
Its flavour profile makes it particularly well-suited both to classic rum-based cocktails and to simple recipes, in which the spirit remains the star of the show.
FRESH Daiquiri
50 ml Hampden Estate FRESH
25 ml fresh lime juice
15 ml sugar syrup
Shake with ice and strain into a pre-chilled glass. One of the most essential recipes for bringing out the aromatic character of rum.
FRESH Jamaican Mule
50 ml Hampden Estate FRESH
20 ml succo di lime fresco
Ginger beer
Pour FRESH and the lime juice into a glass filled with ice, top up with ginger beer and stir gently. The spicy notes of the ginger complement the rum’s bold character without overpowering it.
Hampden Estate FRESH is, in short, a Hampden designed to be mixed: a white rum that retains the distillery’s identity and transforms it into a versatile ingredient for contemporary cocktails.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
