Hampden DOK 2010 Rare Cask No. 11 is a 12-year aged rum with an ester content of between 1,500 and 1,600 grams per hectolitre of alcohol, the maximum authorised by Jamaican law - as indicated by its DOK mark.
This version embodies the most extreme of the distillery's products, as evidenced by the notes of acetone, macerated fruit and banana flambée that can be perceived from the start. However, far from being reduced to this particularly empyreumatic beginning, its aromatic and taste palette gradually reveals itself to be more and more complex, as well as remarkably fresh.
