Hendrick's Gin: deliciously unusual

Hendrick's is one of the world's most famous gins - and in 2003 was named the world's best by the Wall Street Journal. It was born from the genius of Lesley Gracie, Master Distiller at William Grant's, and a fortunate circumstance: the purchase by President Charles Gordon of two incredible stills - a Carter-Head and a Bennet. Lesley accepted the challenge to create a new and original gin, which arrived in 1999, with its highly unusual aromas of damask rose and cucumber, and was immediately an extraordinary success, ushering in a true revolution in the world of gins. In addition to rose petals and cucumber, Hendrick's is made with coriander, juniper berries, angelica, cumin and lemon peel.
