Glendronach

Scotland - Highland

Glendronach means valley of brambles in Gaelic. In 1826 the exuberant and extroverted James Allardice founded the distillery and began producing his single malt Guid GlenDronach. Over the years, the distillery thrived under the guidance of far-sighted investors such as Walter Scott in 1847 and Captain Charles Grant in 1920.
