Pioneers of South African craft gin, Inverroche Distillery was founded by Lorna Scott and her family. The distillery has grown increasingly in the local community of Still Bay, in the Western Cape of Southern Africa.
In just six years, the distillery has grown from a small cottage industry to a thriving and pioneering craft distillery. A distillery that invests in its community and produces world-class gin and spirits.

Over the years, Lorna sat at the kitchen table with her son Rohan and, through trial and error, developed the range of Inverroche gins you can enjoy today.
"It was a labour of love. We never dreamed of the commercial success we achieved, we just did it because we were fascinated by the botanicals and the process; it was an adventure that eventually turned into the business it is today."
They experimented not only with the ingredients, but also with the method. This led them to develop a proprietary process in which they load the pot still with their base spirit and then layer the selected botanicals in specially designed steam baskets inside the pot still. Adding the fynbos in this way allows the gently heated spirit steam to extract the aromatic oils from the botanicals before collecting in the tiller and descending into the condenser: the result is a subtle yet complex Gin, infused with layers of exceptional flavours and unique aromas.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
