Erasmus Bond

The history of mixing changed on May 28, 1858 when a gentleman named Erasmus Bond patented a "liquid tonic with added air", now called tonic water. Several years later Mario Groteklaes of the company The Nectar, a great fan of gin and tonic and importer of distillates, thought that he needed a range of high quality tonic waters really able to adapt to the great variety of Gin currently on the market. This is why Erasmus Bond was born.
