Germana is a handmade Cachaça produced by Caetano family, in Vista Alegre (Minas Gerais, Brazil). Cachaça cultivated in 300 hectares without chemical additives + hand cut with machete + transport in a donkey-backed distillery = authenticity.

The fermentation is activated as 500 years ago with yellow corn, which contributes to the final aroma, continues with natural yeasts and lasts two to three weeks. Copper pot still distillation.
Germana Cachaça differs in blend and aging wood: Caetano's ages two years in Umburana (Brazilian cherry), Traditional is wrapped in a banana leaf and ages two years in balsam and then it is assembled; Brazil ages 5 years in French oak and finally Heritage 8 years in oak, plus 2 in balm.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
