Peaty whisky gives great emotions, unmistakable flavors and smells that captivate us and that, by binding to the scents given by the oak wood, create new horizons of taste.

Peat comes into play during malting, a phase in which it is necessary to stop the germination of the barley grain, precisely by drying it. If this is done with hot peat smoke, our whisky will inevitably have that typical smoky, earthy streak.

It can be said that when the distilleries were born, in the early 1800s, all whiskies were peaty, in Scotland but also in Ireland.
