Martell

France

Martell is the oldest of the Cognac houses. Founded in 1715 by Englishman Jean Martell, it rapidly exported to the United Kingdom and Asia, but above all was instrumental in developing the reputation of the Cognac region. In 1912, Martell created Cordon Bleu, the most famous and award-winning Cognac ever, which has certainly marked historic milestones in recent history, taking part in coronations, royal weddings, polar expeditions, Hollywood movies, boarding the Queen Mary and flying on Concorde.
