Tobermory

Tobermory

Considered one of the first Scotch Whisky distilleries, Tobermory was founded in 1798 by John Sinclair and still remains the only distillery on the island of Mull, in the Hebrides on the west coast of Scotland.

During its troubled history, the Tobermory has maintained that authentic character and the traditional methods of the origins. In 2017 a phase of restoration of the original stills began, along with an expansion of the visitor center. However, production is still stopped and will not restart before 2019, although the reserves are still sufficient to guarantee wonderful blends for everyone.
