Introducing Porcelain Distillery, a family-run distillery located in the Liaoning province of China.
Coming from a family of traditional spice producers, the distillery has private access to the best botanicals and ingredients offered in China.
The knowledge of botanicals and their properties is unique and unparalleled and is combined with the collaboration with a true veteran of gin distillation and award winner, Kai Seidenhefter from Hessen, Germany.
In addition to this, everything about the production of the gin is painstakingly hand-crafted: hand-cracked hazelnuts, hand-dried citrus peels and hand-applied labels are just some of the touches that make this gin unique.

Porcelain Shanghai Dry Gin is made from 18 botanicals including: Mongolian juniper berries, goji berries, Sichuan pepper, cardamom, coriander seeds, almond, hazelnut, orange, lemon and grapefruit peel, mandarin, rose and 6 other secret ingredients.
Every process is artisanal and performed by hand: from the opening of the hazelnuts to the peeling and drying of the citrus fruits, to the application of the labels. Mulan is the name of the large, custom-made 500-litre copper still that is used for distillation: the botanicals simmer overnight in the cauldron to obtain an intense aroma.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
