Founded by Mauro Vergano more than 20 years ago, Chinati Vergano is a family-run company that produces wines, vermouths and liqueurs focusing on small, experimental productions based on recipes dating back to the late 19th century.

Aromatised wines were once highly valued and known for their medicinal properties, as well as for their pleasantness, as in the case of vermouth. Traditionally, they were prepared at home, or at most by small artisans such as some coffee shops and pharmacies. Chinati Vergano has set itself the goal of delving into this sector, taking advantage of a long family tradition in the liqueur and pharmaceutical sectors: its products are therefore the fruit of more than 20 years of studies and experiments, with a desire to develop innovations that open up new horizons. For its productions, the Vergano team possesses vast expertise in both oenology and herbalism, essential to range from vermouths to chinati.
A special feature is Lulì, a Chinato wine based on Moscato d'Asti, which represents an absolute novelty in the field of aromatised wines. Traditionally, aromatised white wines were based on the use of aromatic products such as dry Moscato, whose lesser aromaticity was overpowered by the subsequent aromatisation; the novelty of Lulì lies in the use of Moscato d'Asti as it is, exploiting precisely its intense fruity notes in the preparation.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
