Vergano Americano Vermouth Rosso is a traditional aperitif that combines in its composition the main characteristics of vermouth, with the presence of various types of absinthe, with the more bitter ones of bitter, deriving from bitter orange and chinotto peels, on a base of wine from Grignolino grapes. Gentian flowers, gentian roots, cinnamon and cardamom are added to complete the aromatic profile.
Excellent on the rocks with an orange peel and a dash of tonic.
Chinati Vergano is a family-run company that has been producing vermouths, liqueurs and aromatised wines using artisanal methods for twenty years. Founded by Mauro Vergano, it has always concentrated on small experimental productions based on the elaboration of recipes that date back to the end of the 19th century, carefully selecting raw materials, from wine to aromatic herbs, searching for new horizons of flavour and valorising products that had fallen into disuse.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
