The Dolin company is a Vermouth distillery and manufacturer. Pioneer in the foundation of this tradition is Joseph Chavasse: liquorist and master distiller. At 25 he established his distillery in Les Echelles in Savoy, using the thriving mountain of Chartreuse for the collection of medicinal plants indispensable for the production of elixir.

Inspired by the production tradition of aperitif drinks in the nearby city of Turin, Chavasse invents the recipe of a Vermouth in which the white wines of the nearby valley are infused with a large variety of mountain herbs and spices.
Dolin's French vermouth has enjoyed local and international success since the beginning of its history in 1820, thanks to its characteristic aromatic bouquet whose subtle alchemy delights the palate and awakens the senses.
Absolute star of Parisian cafes during the 19th century, winner of numerous awards, it has been so successful in the last 200 years that its recipe is still kept secret.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
