Heater is a premium gin made from organically grown plants distilled up to five times. On the nose flowers and juniper while in the mouth it is soft and tasty with clear citrus notes. The botanicals are immersed in the spirit for at least 24 hours; a process that improves their complexity within the gin.
They are selected for lightness, flavor and fragrance, and improved with the addition of natural heather. The final result? an amazing gin that does not even require the addition of lemon, for a traditional Gin and Tonic. Knockeen Hills also produces a range of Irish high strength Poteens up to 90% ABV, a range awarded with 15 medals from the international Wine & Spirit competition.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
