The Poli distillery: a long history
Founded in Schiavon, in the province of Vicenza, in 1898, and owned by the family of the same name, the Poli distillery produces grappa using one of the very few still-existing all-copper stills, consisting of discontinuous-cycle steam cauldrons.
It is the great-grandchildren of founder Giobatta Poli - Giampaolo, Barbara, Andrea and Jacopo - who continue the activity of what is now one of the most important distilleries in the Vicenza area, producing grappa and grape, wine and fruit distillates.
