Pusser's Rum is the original Royal Navy, which is the rum that the British Navy administered daily to its sailors from 1655 to 1970. The Rum used took the name of Navy or Pusser which derives from "Purser", that is the one responsible of the daily administration of Rum, commonly called "tot".

After the end of this tradition the original recipe was taken over in 1979 by the former navy officer Charles Tobias, and marketed under the name of Pusser's, today almost a myth for rum lovers.
It is a blend of different origins, mainly rums coming from Trinidad and Guyana, distilled thanks to a Double Wooden Pot Still by Port Mourant, a historical still that brings unparalleled aromas to those of modern metal stills, giving a truly authentic experience.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
