Zacapa 23 Year Rum changes its name and label to pay homage to the iconic Solera system with Zacapa Solera Gran Reserva.
The Rum is aged using the Solera method in Bourbon, Sherry and Pedro Xymenez barrels, blending rums from different vintages, from the youngest to those that have been in barrel for as many as 23 years. It is a smooth, warm and enveloping rum, enriched by sweet notes of chocolate, almonds, orange and vanilla.
With its unique history and numerous awards won, Zacapa rum is a true symbol of Guatemala. It is produced in Quetzaltenango, where the Botran family founded the company. Zacapa is located 2333 meters above sea level on the banks of the Motagua River, amid majestic landscapes and active volcanoes.The soil is very fertile and rich in minerals, ideal for growing sugar cane, which is produced directly by the company.
