Armagnac Chateau De La Beroje 1995 Version Française was selected by La Maison du Whisky for its 65th anniversary celebration series. The Maison is located in Grand-Bas-Armagnac and is owned by Raymond Crombez de Montmort, who as Master Cellar pays particular attention to ageing. This version distilled in 1995 has reached perfect maturity, and shows a truly extraordinary complexity
Armagnac Chateau De La Beroje 1995 Version Française has a delicate nose, in which fruity and balsamic hints evolve into nuances of chocolate, cinnamon, ginger and berries, with beeswax and quince accompanying floral tones. The palate is elegant and smooth, with notes of chocolate, blood orange and caramel, with an aftertaste of ginger, honey, cherry and roasted nuts. The finish is persistent, very close to the palate, with an attack of cocoa and coffee that becomes camphorated, and an aftertaste of dried fruit.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
