An aperitif wine that comes from the brilliant mind of Giuseppe Gallo, one of the most authoritative experts in the beverage sector at an international level. Savoia Americano is inspired by the authentic recipe of "Bitter from Milan" which dates back to around 1897, but is the first of its kind to use the DOC Marsala Fino Siciliano wine, as well as being the only 100% vegan aperitif thanks to its use of beta-carotene to obtain its amber red color.
Savoia Americano combines sweet Vermouth and Bitter Amaro on a wine base in a single bottle, all already mixed for a sophisticated and ready-to-serve serving. It is a perfect middle point between Bitter and Vermouth, a delicious aperitif and at the same time a definitive base for an infinite number of cocktails, classic and not only, even for those with low alcohol content: 18.6% Abv a symbolic number that recalls the date of the Italian reunification begun in 1861 by Giuseppe Garibaldi.
For lovers of good drinking, a splash of soda in two measures of American Savoia with ice can be enough to enjoy a classic Americano cocktail, or add a measure of Gin in two measures of American Savoia to make a Negroni. Those who are faithful to Spritz, on the other hand, can simply add a generous dose with Prosecco or sparkling wine; while the most creative will exploit the Marsala base to obtain a wonderfully complex and refined flavor in the glass.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
