Elephant London Dry Gin is made from a unique blend of 14 herbs and spices, which include baobab, buchu and African mugwort, but especially fresh apples. Distillation is artisanal, using copper stills, and is carried out in small batches.
The founders of Elephant Gin, Robin and Tessa Gerlach, took inspiration from their travels in Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa to create an African-inspired gin. Aware of the need to safeguard the environment, Elephant Gin donates 15% of its profits to elephant conservation projects, specifically to three foundations: Big Life Foundation, Space For Elephants and Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.
Each bottle is carefully crafted, with hand-written labels, and each batch is named after the great elephants of the past and those that partner foundations help to protect.
On the nose, Elephant Gin presents hints of juniper, with an undertone of mountain pine and herbs. The palate is complex and smooth, rich in floral, fruity and spicy notes. Excellent both neat and blended in a cocktail.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
