During 1884 Doctor Giuseppe Clementi, expert botanist, created the recipe of China Clementi in his pharmacy, between the mountains and the woods of Fivizzano, in the Lunigiana Region, Tuscany.
It is an elixir made from the harmonious mix of two valuable types of Tropical Cinchona, Cinchona Calisaya and the rare Succirubra, with the addition of bitter oranges and various aromatic herbs. Today, China Clementi is still made like in the past, using rigidly the old 1884 recipe, with the same dedication and passion of old times.
