Derrumbes Durango is produced with Agave Cenizo (Durangesis) in Nombre de Dios, Durango.
The process of creating this intriguing mezcal is supervised by the mezcalero master Urial Simental. From cooking agave in underground stone pits fueled with black oak wood, to fermentation in underground tanks lined with pine and using wood and copper stills. The result is a mezcal with a distinctive Derrumbes character, hailing from a region that is gaining a great reputation for producing mezcal.
Aromatic Profile: on the nose a great balance between hints of ripe fruit, nuts and minerality. Intense, clean and slightly herbaceous palate with a light smokiness on the finish.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
