How can we obtain the aromatic or the delightfulness of a Gin & Tonic without alcohol?
The answer is Seedlip, the first non-alcoholic distillate of the world. The Art of distillation is a book written in 1651 by the famous English physicist John French. Found 300 years after in a small cottage in the English country, it became the source of inspiration which pushed Ben Branson, a visionary man, to buy a small pot still and start making distillation, using the roots and herbs essences from his own garden.
Seedlip is a range of nonalcoholic distillates obtained following exactly the old procedures indicated by the text, created with the dream to change the way to drink spirits. The ingredients used to flavor this groundbreaking drink comes from the English country and partially self-produced in the Garden 108 property whose name reminds one of the number of days needed to sow, grow and harvest the peas in Bens Farm, used in the aromatic process. The plants used are: hay, peas, mint, rosemary, thyme and hop.
To prepare a perfect Seedlip Garden & Tonic, one of the worlds best non alcoholic drinks, you need 50 ml of Seedlip Garden 108 plus 125 ml of Edelflower Fever Tree Tonic Water and garnish with a cucumber peel
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
