Issan Rhum 2021 is produced in northeastern Thailand, in the agricultural region of Issan, the most rural in the country, known for being the first sugar cane producer in Thailand.
Rhum produced from a controlled supply chain, with natural farming methods and based on close relationships with the peasants of the region. The sugar cane, cut manually, is transported to the distillery, where it undergoes a unique process: each cane is manually cleaned to preserve its heart. After a fermentation of 3 or 4 days of the pure undiluted juice at an average temperature of 15 ° C, we proceed to distillation in the Pot Still alembic. The distillate rests before being downgraded according to the rules of the Thai government.
We recommend it straight or mixed. The best way to savor it in Ti Punch, with brown sugar, lime and ice.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
