Produced from molasses that has been fermented for almost two days, this rum was distilled in a Vendôme pot still, before being aged for two years in a tropical climate and subsequently for nineteen years in a continental climate.
Whilst retaining all the exuberance of its early years, its range of aromas and flavours also shines through the maturity of its expression, punctuated by notes of chocolate of rare indulgence.
The only distillery still in operation in Saint Lucia was established in 1972 following the merger of the last two production units still operating on this volcanic island in the Lesser Antilles.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
