Transcontinental Rum Line Jamaica WP 2007: 9 years in the tropics, plus 6 more in Europe
Jamaica WP 15 is a Pure Single Rum Jamaican over 14 years old from the Worthy Park distillery and bottled in La Maison du Whisky's Transcontinental Rum Line Single Cask series.
Distilled in 2007 in Worthy Park in a alambic Pot Still, it is then left to age for 9 years in a tropical climate in ex-bourbon WP07JM01 barrels, after which this Single Cask is shipped by ship to Europe to continue aging for another 6 years.
It was then bottled in 2022 at the cask strength of 57.9 percent in a version limited to 230 bottles.
