After a triple distillation in alembic, in 2007, it was aged in a tropical climate for 14 years in American oak barrels.
The nose is lively and creamy, with peppery and woody notes that over time evolve into camphorated and medicinal fragrances. The palate is powerful, with a vanilla attack that then reveals rich nuances of cocoa, cinnamon and anise. The finish is long and balanced, with spicy and floral notes.
