A selection of parcels of sugar canes, with this rhum Francois Longueteau takes us into a new universe.
In this distillery, in fact, they continue to produce with the same spirit of its ancestors: the best varieties of sugar cane are grown on the 24 hectares of property, the steam engine that moves production is still the one installed in 1968 in place of the watermill, while the production of Rhum is still fermenting and distilling separately the cru of rouge cane.
The result of all this is an elegant Rhum Agricole in the nose with light vegetal notes, fresh tropical fruit and cumin. In the mouth, however, the tasting becomes much more incisive with licorice, sugar cane and tantalizing foreign (which are the true soul of the distillate). Slightly sapid and sour on the finish, you will be surprised.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
