American Single Malt Whiskey produced at Copperworks, is the result of combining eight new and charred oak casks, four of which contained whiskey from Great Western Malting's distillation of Pale barley and matured for 45-52 months. Three casks were instead filled with 'single variety' whiskey then distilled from single variety grain (Baronesse barley grown in Colfax, WA) and matured for 56 months. The final cask was created from a 'Queen's Run' (redistillation of heads and tails from previous distillations), matured for 60 months.
The Copperworks Single Malt presents aromas of lemon peel and black cherry, dried pine needles and grilled pineapple to follow. The first sip is reminiscent of sweet tea, then the fruit continues with flavours of ripe kiwi and citrus peel, lingering like aged pipe tobacco. The finish reveals white pepper, Demerara sugar and fresh raspberries.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
