The Single Cask Penderyn 9 Y.O. 2012 Amontillado Conquete was selected by La Maison du Whisky to celebrate its 65th anniversary. This cask-aged version of the Amontillado invites you to discover Penderyn whiskies in a richer and creamier light than usual, without neglecting its classic and characteristic exuberance.
The Single Cask Penderyn 9 Y.O. 2012 Amontillado Conquete has a creamy nose, in which the Amontillado influence is reflected in hints of biscuit, almond and coffee, evolving into candied citrus, vanilla, flowers, cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate is unmistakable, rich with notes of cream, cocoa bean, pecan, coffee liqueur, thyme, cardamom and saffron. The finish is fresh, with fig and kiwi tones fading into maple syrup, pine resin and lemon cake.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
