Smokehead Sherry Cask Blast: smooth and spicy

A new dimension of taste: Smokehead has made this amazing and out-of-the-box single malt Sherry Cask Blast which is aged in ex-sherry casks.

The peat of traditional Islay whiskies is combined with rich, sweet, fiery notes that enhance the taste and contrast it. 

On the nose, characteristic hints of peat are accompanied by more fruity and sweet sensations. On the sip, the liquid is oily, full-bodied: the palate is overwhelmed by rich, enveloping peat. Past the initial smoky phase, sweet notes of barbecued banana and dehydrated raisins emerge. The finish is dominated by smoky notes and sweet hints, sharpened by savory puffs.
