Glenfarclas 59 Y.O. 1953 The Coronation 

The British monarchy is very much associated with the whisky industry, one of the UK's most traditional and fascinating products. There are many bottlings that pay homage to the Crown in some way, but here we are dealing with a real piece of history.

Indeed, cask number 1669 was bottled at Glenfarclas Distillery in 2013 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's coronation and remains one of the oldest single malts the famous Speyside distillery has ever created.

There are only 60 examples of this vintage 1953 that encapsulates, taking them to lofty heights, all the qualities of a great Glenfarclas: silky elegance, intense vinosity, a triumph of fruit and spice.
