The Single Malt Laphroaig 10 Y.O. is one of the best known releases from this iconic Islay distillery, and is still made according to the original recipe from over 80 years ago, using premium malted barley and distilling in the ancient copper stills. The long ageing, 10 years in oak casks, and the Islay peat smoke make it particularly harmonious and balanced.
The nose has intense hints of peat, brackish, medicinal and iodine notes, nuances of wild herbs, heather and cut grass.
The palate is complex and deep, with the sweetness of the fruit balanced by savoury and salty notes.
The finish is very persistent, characterised by the return of smoky tones.

Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
