From the Scarabus collection, the Specially Selected single malt

Scarabus Islay Specially Selected is a peaty Single Malt Whisky from a secret distillery on Islay, about which we know nothing except that it is located south of the island. Also shrouded in mystery are its aging and the type of casks used, which are kept hidden intentionally to make the focus only on the whiskey.

Bottled without cold filtration and natural color.

The nose reveals aromas of peat and sea salt, followed by warm notes of leather and rhubarb, and a vanilla sweetness that leads to a rich, lingering finish.

The word Scarabus in the ancient Norse language means 'rocky place,' and refers to a mystical area on Islay where the precious liquid is distilled. The exact origin of this whiskey remains a secret.
