Talisker Port Ruighe: finished in Port Casks
Port Ruighe is the ancient name for Port Ree, the largest town on the Isle of Skye. This Talisker was therefore born as a tribute to a magical place, which has always also shaped the character of Talisker Single Malt: a savoury and mineral whisky, as sharp as the cliffs against which the waves of the Atlantic Ocean break. In Talisker Port Ruighe, however, this profile is enriched with deep vinous notes, given by the ageing in ex-Port barrels, with red fruits and caramel complementing the spices and peat that make Talisker unmistakable.
