Mount Gay rum is probably one of the oldest in the world. Officially born in 1703 in Barbados, the birthplace of rum, it was probably created already in 1663. Still produced according to traditional methods, its excellent reputation is now international. Particular attention is given to development and aging: this is the secret of their undeniable quality, a subtle combination of character and seduction.

The Mount Gay distillery, in addition to being considered the Mother Nature of all Rum distilleries, has been honored with numerous international awards, above all concerning the Extra Old, spearhead of the distillery. The rums are exclusively blended in a continuous column and pot stills, with aging in ex-Bourbon barrels.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
