It is considered the 'twin' or even 'illegitimate son' of the more famous Manhattan, and in fact the Rob Roy has an identical recipe, with one fundamental difference: alongside the Vermouth and Angostura we find not the American Rye Whisky, but Scotch Whisky.
The Rob Roy became an official IBA cocktail in 1961 and remained so until 2010: elegant, powerful and full of character, it is much loved by bartenders, who do not rest for its somewhat tarnished reputation. Very suitable for more experienced palates, it changes perfume and flavour depending on the Scotch and Vermouth that are chosen, so it always allows new horizons.

Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
