Since the last century Bordiga has distilled the juniper harvested in the Occitane Valleys to produce what can be defined among the traditional Italian gin recipes: Gin Occitan, recently joined by Premium Gins.
Bordiga is a very particular distillery, specialized in rigor and respect for tradition. Its strength is the alpine officinal herbs still harvested by hand and dried at high altitude by mountain dwellers, in an uncontaminated environment. The botanicals are harvested without the aid of engines, without pesticides, fertilizers, fungicides and above all with enormous attention to the quality of the products in respect of the environment. Each production, just as it once was, totally conditioned by the succession of the seasons and by the variations of the climate. Once harvested, the herbs are meticulously checked by the master distillers who deliver only the best to the processing.
Recommended cocktail: Occitan Tonic Mediterraneo.
5cl Occitan Gin Bordiga
10cl Tonic water
Glass: tumbler. Garnish: lemon peel, rosemary sprig.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
